This Privacy Policy describes how MezaTab ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform. MezaTab is operated by Intexa Tech Ltd.
2. Applicable Domains
This policy applies to all services, websites, and applications operated by MezaTab, including but not limited to:
- mezatab.com — marketing website and landing pages
- app.mezatab.com — venue management dashboard and admin portal
- api.mezatab.com — API endpoints and backend services
- mezatab.com — email communications and support
References to "MezaTab", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to all of the above domains and any future domains operated by Intexa Tech Ltd under the MezaTab brand.
3. Information We Collect
When you onboard a venue on MezaTab, we collect basic venue information including venue name, operating country, currency, default language, and phone number for WhatsApp message routing.
4. Customer Table Ordering Data
When customers scan table QR codes and converse with the WhatsApp AI waiter, order items, table numbers, and payment verification STK prompts are processed exclusively to fulfill orders. We do not sell customer personal data.
5. Payment Security
All M-Pesa STK push requests and credit card transactions are handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Safaricom M-Pesa API & Stripe). MezaTab does not store raw credit card numbers or banking passwords. Payment data processed through api.mezatab.com is encrypted end-to-end.
6. Data Retention
Customer table data is automatically anonymized after 30 days. Venue owners retain 100% ownership of their sales records. Financial transaction records required by tax law are retained for the statutory retention period in your jurisdiction.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Venue owners can self-delete their venue and all associated records through the dashboard at app.mezatab.com or by contacting our support team. For full details, see our Data Deletion Guide.
8. Third-Party Services
MezaTab integrates with third-party services including WhatsApp Business Cloud API (Meta), Safaricom M-Pesa, Stripe, and Cloudflare. These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your data. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
